You will also need to understand what is expected of you as an Aesthetic professional. This includes how you should conduct yourself in front of clients and interact with fellow professionals.

Health & Safety is very important for you, staff and clients, so it is vital that every business has a good policy in place. Everyone in the salon has a duty of care to work in a manner that does not endanger the health, safety or welfare of themselves or others. They must not interfere with or misuse any items of equipment provided in the salon. This applies to equipment for providing treatments to clients as well as specific safety equipment such as fire extinguishers.

This course is an introduction to dealing with Emergencies & Complications in the workplace, but we would still strongly recommend attending a certified First Aid or Emergency Aid in the workplace course
